New Jack Nicklaus Golf Academy Set to Open in Nuevo Vallarta

Grupo Vidanta, Mexico's leading resort and golf course developer has announced the opening of the new Jack Nicklaus Golf Academy, located in Nuevo Vallarta. 

The Nicklaus Academy in Nuevo Vallarta will be the Nicklaus group's third such facility in Mexico. Set to the backdrop of beautiful Mexico, the Nicklaus Academy promises to be one of the most complete golf training facilities in the world. 

"The new Nicklaus Golf Academy is another indicator of how Nuevo Vallarta is quickly becoming the premier golf destination in Mexico," says Jesus Torres, managing director of Vidanta Golf. "Even if people staying at the resort are not great golfers, these new facilities give them a great opportunity to learn the sport of golf from some great instructors."

Building a new golf facility was essential, as tourists and golf professionals are discovering that Mexico’s climate and location makes for an ideal location for the sport.  

"With the exploding demand for golf evident through the solid bookings at Nayar's existing Nicklaus Design course, adding two new beautifully designed golf courses within the next couple of years will further solidify Vidanta Golf's Nuevo Vallarta hub as the premiere destination for golf and travel," concludes Torres.

In addition to the academy, this course will be home to one of the finest practice facilities in Vallarta, including a lit driving range, complete with natural and artificial grass tees, multiple target greens for putting and short game areas. The Nicklaus Academy is open to members and guests of Vidanta resorts as well as residents and visitors to Puerto Vallarta.
