Bombardier Aerospace Expands their Production at Mexican Site

Bombardier Aerospace declared that the aft fuselage of its Global 7000 and Global 8000 business jets will now be built in Queretaro, Mexico. Bombardier Aerospace’s Mexican site at the moment produces the aft fuselage of its Global 5000 and 6000 jets. Real Gervais, the Vice President of the Mexico Manufacturing Centre, Bombardier Aerospace stated," We are very proud to be part of the Global 7000 and Global 8000 aircraft production team." He went on to say, "We are confident that our team’s proven experience, dedication and commitment to excellence on the current production Global aircraft with make a positive contribution to these innovative new aircraft."  

The Mexican site is not only a huge venture for the Bombardier Aerospace Company but for the Mexican job market as well. Around 1,700 individuals have already been employed by Bombardier Aerospace at the site in Queretaro, Mexico. In addition, Bombardier Aerospace is committed to developing sustainable business and economic practices in production and distribution. They’re set on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, organizing and supporting community based projects and advocating recycling programs. Steve Ridolfi, President of Bombardier Business Aircraft explained, "Our Queretaro site is already producing large components for several of our current production business aircraft, including the Global 5000 an Global 6000 jets…its participation in the Global 7000 and 8000 jet program will further contribute to this world-class facility’s expertise and Bombardier’s expansion of its leadership worldwide."
